Rex RayRex Ray (American, 1956–2015) combined a midcentury modern aesthetic with a psychedelic color palette and amorphous shapes to create a pop style all his own. Born in Germany and raised in Colorado, Ray moved to San Francisco in the early 1980s, where he joined the Bay Area’s art, literary, and activist scenes. His bold style lent itself to fine art and commercial work—from album covers and concert posters to book jackets, murals, canvases, digital compositions, and resin boards. He created his collages entirely by hand and is known for popularizing the use of high-gloss resin panels—encasing his colorful, graphic collage designs in a glossy layer of resin. Ray’s work has been showcased in several books and is in major museum collections.
A wonderful selection of puzzles! Have put two together and four more to go. Still haven’t figured out why the swimming bear is called “Buffalo” and realize I must become more familiar with the artist
This puzzle was really compelling, and LOTS of fun to do!
This puzzle was my favorite kind - challenging but not impossible and so beautiful. I loved working with the colors and patterns. It’s a keeper!
Gorgeous puzzle, well made, vibrant colors, many different visual textures, pieces fit together well, comes with a zip lock bag (we use a smaller one just for the edge pieces), and a matte finish. We own over 75 puzzles, and Pomegranate is our favorite puzzle company.
We greatly appreciate your continued support!
Colors and designs awesome.
Disappointed in end that three pieces were missing/ improperly cut to fit, and could not complete the lovely art.
Our sincere apologies that your puzzle came up short. Missing pieces are not something that is unheard of in this industry, but also not something that we take lightly. We do our best to ensure that all the pieces make it inside the box, but things sometimes happen.
We would be happy to send you the pieces that you need to complete your puzzle. Please use the link below to submit the information that we need.
