A New Way to Experience Time

Debuting for 2010, this unique calendar begins with the 2009 winter solstice (December 21, 2009) and ends on December 31, 2010. Its 313 entries (Saturdays and Sundays share a page, as do a few other selected days) feature color illustrations of terrestrial phenomena and lively, informative text about seasonal events in the natural world. As in the wall and engagement formats of the ECOlogical Calendar, seasons are color coded and given evocative names—Celeste, Bluster, Bloom, Leave—and yearly grids for 2010 and 2011 are included. A compact daily reminder of nature’s cycles and rhythms.

ECOtime, a project of The ECOlogical Calendar, can be heard as part of National Public Radio's “Living On Earth” show and on Green 960 am in the California Bay Area. 365-day padded tear-off calendar with plastic base; printed on recycled paper using soy-based inks. Size: 6 1/4 x 5 1/4 in. (box 7 x 6 in.). ISBN 978-0-7649-4919-7. Related products: ECOlogical engagement and wall calendars, Christmas cards, notecards, and Knowledge cards.
