Jenny Tylden-Wright: Noah’s Ark 300-piece Jigsaw Puzzle
, 1990, by Jenny Tylden-Wright
Colored pencil on paper, 15 x 15 cm (5⅞ x 5⅞ in.)
The vibrant and dynamic imagery of British artist Jenny Tylden-Wright has graced the covers and pages of numerous adult and children’s books. Her bucolic barnyard scenes and wildlife illustrations have also appeared on advertising campaigns, art prints, stationery, and housewares. The highly stylized flora and fauna of Tylden-Wright seem to weather every season with cheer. Tylden-Wright’s illustrations feel at once retro and futuristic. For Noah’s Ark, she used colored pencils to create the tumultuous waters, textural vegetation, and creatures marching two by two. Often inspired by animals, trees, and landscapes, Tylden-Wright found ample opportunity to display them all in her rendering of Noah’s Ark.
Thoughtfully conceived and engagingly intricate, our 300-piece jigsaw puzzles combine superb color reproduction, stunning and unusual images, and sturdy construction to delight generations of novice and veteran puzzleworkers.
