Tom Thomson (Canadian, 1877–1917) was an avid outdoorsman who loved the wild, rough beauty of northern Ontario. While supporting himself as a wilderness guide and forest ranger in Algonquin Park, Tomson created hundreds of small sketches and oil paintings of the back country. Many of his oils were executed in only a few hours but are nonetheless emblematic of Canadian art. Autumn’s Garland
captures the rugged style and superb use of color that are trademarks of this remarkable artist.
Thoughtfully conceived and engagingly intricate, Pomegranate’s 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzles combine superb color reproduction, stunning and unusual images, and sturdy construction to delight generations of novice and veteran puzzleworkers.
