The colorful embroideries featured in this notecard assortment were made by the Otomí people from the mountain village of San Pablito in the Mexican state of Puebla. Craft production plays a large part in the economies of several of the Eastern Otomí communities.
The Museum of International Folk Art in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is home to one of the world’s largest collections of international folk art. Featuring paintings, prints, furniture, jewelry, pottery, more than 20,000 textiles and costumes, and other folk art objects, the collection spans five continents and 100 countries.
